We are currently seeking a Project and Account Manager to join our New York office. The Project and Account Manager will work closely with senior staff and marketing staff focusing on practice and project management and performance monitoring. Main responsibilities will include:
Provide technical and administrative supervision to the architectural staff to manage and coordinate production of technical documentation.
Participate and advise staff on projects during Construction Administration.
Assist senior staff in developing and validating project scope and fee, budget and scope of services during the marketing and contract development process.
Participate in selected marketing and business development opportunities.
Assist in development of fee proposals for marketing proposals.
Assist senior staff in the preparation and execution of consultant contracts.
Practice and Operations Management:
Assist senior staff on review of contracts and project budgets.
Manage project and general office contracts, billings and collections. Manage vendor and consultant contract administration and reimbursable processing.
Manage and monitor invoicing and notify clients of add-services as appropriate.
15+ years of related experience, including demonstrated success as a project manager on large scale commercial and institutional architecture.
Experience with contract/construction administration, project scheduling, technical detailing, consultant coordination.
Ability to effectively work in a team atmosphere
Strong knowledge of architecture, building trends and construction methodology.
Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures.
Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills.
