The HWKN Communications team is responsible for creating a wide range of print and digital assets for the company, as well as scouting and securing new award, competition, and job opportunities. We currently have an intern-level position open to someone who is interested in the communications side of our operations.

In this position you will function as an intern on the Communications team, and have an active role in maintaining a continuous overview of all potential projects. Furthermore you will help to organize and administer potential projects, distribute requests from prospects within the office, work on presentations, proposal submissions and the creation of portfolios according to different targets. You will be actively involved in searching for and targeting opportunities, organizing internal reviews, and responding to prospects. You will archive Communications materials and assist the team in other day to day activities.


  • Graduate of a Architecture / Urban Planning, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or other relevant study
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Products Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficiency in Rhino, Autocad and VRay preferred
  • Accuracy and hands-on approach
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proactive, self-disciplined and confident in an ad hoc environment
  • Affinity for architecture and art
  • Team player
  • Accurate and hands-on
  • Pro-active mentality
  • Valid US working permit

Interns will receive a monthly stipend.
