KDA Architects is a design firm in Voorhees, NJ. Our practice focuses on senior living, senior housing, K-12 educational, commercial, and mixed-use. We have an immediate opening for a Project Architect preferably with in-depth knowledge of senior living design. The desired candidate has 5 to 8 years experience in the role of Project Architect on large scale new construction and renovations.
Requirements:
B-Arch or M-Arch degree
Experience in all project phases, including construction administration
Experience in organizing design and construction documentation, developing details and technical specifications
Experience coordinating work of consulting engineers and interior designers
Strong verbal and written skills; relating to communication within the office, to consultants, contractors and clients
Strong design and graphic skills
An eye for detail, and an drive for problem solving
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Commitment to responsibility, integrity and client satisfaction
Preferred:
In depth senior living industry experience, particularly licensed healthcare projects
Professional Registration
LEED accredited professional
Experience using 3-D modeling software
