Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in custom residential design.

Job requirements include:

1. As-built measurement and drafting
2. Drafting of construction documents, creating and maintaining required schedules, checking for consistency & meeting project deadlines
3. Collaborating with consultants
4. Communicating with clients
5. Maintaining office reference materials and production tools
6. Mastery of Kitchen and Bath design with understanding of cabinetry in all historic styles, construction and hardware
7. Proficient with tile and stone types and terminologies, features and finishes, vendors and costs.
8. Expert at plumbing fixture function and placement, features and finishes, building codes, vendors and costs
9. Expert at appliance function and placement, features and finishes, power requirements, terminology, building codes, vendors and costs
10. Expert at lighting and electrics types, function, output, power requirements, circuiting, building codes, vendors and lifecycle costs
11. Inventive with paneling types and finishes, beams, coffers and built-ins
12. Expert at door and window hardware historic styles, terminology, materials, function, finishes, building codes, vendors and costs
13. Must deliver complete and accurate schedules
14. Must make good use of concept photos and drawings, CAD draft elevations, sections and details
15. Must be effective at client presentations
16. Must build and maintain samples libraries
17. Rendering abilities in SketchUp, Photoshop and Illustrator skills are a plus
