ENTRY LEVEL INTERN ARCHITECT
At W.C. Ralston Architects, the Intern Architect will prepare, control and manage deliverables for projects.
Responsibilities will include:

Reviewing design drawings and creating working drawings from sketches or renderings

Working within a budget, the employee will deliver preliminary and construction sets on time
-
Reviewing construction documents for feasibility and applicable code conformance
-
Participating in design development, pre-construction and field meetings as necessary as well as making necessary changes and updates to documents in ASI or sketch format
-
Functioning as liaison between client and civil, structural and MEP Engineer
-
Providing technical assistance and serve as a resource to the staff at large in areas of expertise
-
Researching projects, techniques, materials, industry standards and new codes
-
Preparing marketing drawings and work with the team to promote projects
Requirements:
-
3-5 years of experience
-
Some project management experience preferred
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Extremely detail orientated
-
Committed to quality
-
Very well organized
-
Passion for residential / commercial design
-
Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university
-
Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and REVIT
