NBBJ Seattle is seeking a mid-level Medical Planner to join our Healthcare Practice to work on complex Healthcare projects involving client contact and leadership responsibilities. The Medical Planner will design and plan work for small and large complex hospitals and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and planning of large hospitals
-
Work with clients to identify objectives and formulate options
-
Ability to effectively lead Clinical User Group meetings and participate in client presentations
-
Proven ability to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction
Skills and Qualifications (required unless otherwise noted):
-
B Arch (or equivalent); M Arch preferred
-
Architectural License preferred; LEED Accreditation a plus
-
5+ years of medical planning experience on complex hospital and ambulatory care facilities
-
Understanding of programmatically rich healthcare projects from concept design and programming through construction administration

Experience coordinating and facilitating client user group meetings and developing all related deliverables

Knowledge of FGI Guidelines and life safety codes

Experience marketing Healthcare projects preferred

Familiarity with issues surrounding innovative healthcare strategic planning, master planning, and programming

Ability to collaborate with in-house team of medical planners and interior designers, as well as coordination with external consultants

Exceptional written, verbal and graphic communication skills
-
Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills

Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketchup, Rhino or 3DS Max desired

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Desire to travel
