PROJECT ARCHITECT
Seattle

 

To support the growth of the Seattle office, Aedas is seeking a highly quality architect to provide technical leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in design, documentation, contract administration
  • Proficiency and proven project delivery with Revit is a prerequisite
  • Based full time in Seattle with experience on institutional and commercial projects
  • Washington State License and LEED Accredited Professional preferred

Competencies and Skills

  • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and judgment when delivering on project objectives
  • Exceptional design, communication, and technical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of codes and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to structure and lead in the creation of the architectural documents
  • Ability to lead the development of the architectural detailing for the project
  • Experience with complex, phased permitting preferred
  • High rise and curtain wall experience preferred
  • Additional skills in visualization (Sketchup, Rhino, 3dsMax, Adobe Design Suite, etc);

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall technical leadership on the project
  • Lead, develop and manage the BIM process for the project
  • Manage and coordinate the team of consultants
  • Manage the documentation and specification process
  • Lead the project's quality control process
  • Coordinate and obtain approvals from regulatory authorities
  • Lead the construction administration process.
