waa (we architech anonymous ltd ) is Beijing-based practice with both RIBA chartered Practice status and registered locally as an “Architect of Record”（建筑设计事务所甲级资质）. The practice was born by several UK registered architects in 2010. We work closely with existing well-established local architects solely on jobs close to Beijing and its surrounding provinces.

waa’s ongoing projects comprises of several commissioned works including a on-site Contemporary Art Gallery ( to be  completed 2013), competition winning scheme of a masterplan scale cultural project, and a recently acquired large scale urban complex and luxury hotels. As a fairly young practice, waa prioritises team-work and is determined to establish a fair, open minded intimate atmosphere, which we find helps create and support a fresh and multifaceted approach on design.  

To facilitate the on-going various projects commitments, waa is currently recruiting the following position in Beijing:

 Senior Architectural Assistant  (full time):

• Bachelor in Architecture or above (or RIBA/ARB part 2 equivalent)
• Working experience: 1 year or above  in an architectural practice, construction packages production experience preferred
• Oversea study background or working experience preferred
• Competent computer skills including Microstation 2D and 3D, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc
• Strong visual and design talent
• Fluency in both English and Chinese preferred ( Ability to communicate with project team in Chinese during on-site period is essential)
