Do you intend to become a well rounded architect?

Do you require NCARB sponsorship for eventual licensure?

Are you eligible to work in the United States?

Have you recently earned a BARCH or MARCH degree? (within the last 0 to 3 years)  and ready to show off your advanced digital skills, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop?

CWA practices the profession of architecture in the traditional sense :

  • Listen, respond to and represent the interest of our clients.
  • Practice a design rationalism based on the free expression of team generated objective ideas through the exploration and careful analysis of various design options.
  • Research and analyze historical precedents that inform the initial concept down to the smallest detail.
  • Embrace the latest digital technology while interjecting good “old fashion” professional practice techniques.
  • We understand how buildings go together along with the dynamic inter-relationship of the various participating team members typical of the contemporary design/construction environment.
  • Be well versed in the creation of construction and bid documents to suit the various delivery methods prevalent today.
  • Value the engagement of expert consultants and strive to understand their input while allowing them a wide creative berth.
  • Regularly visit and learn from messy, shoe-scuffing construction sites while engaging the skilled tradesman toiling over our latest creation.
  • We are not afraid of “getting our hands dirty” by embracing unusual design challenges that many so-called “design” architects recoil from.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in our professional practice. Our projects involve many different non-repetitive building types, uses and vintages.  Many are in historic buildings designed by some of the great masters. So if you really want to learn what’s needed to become a well rounded licensed professional, and if and only if   you are truly excited about architecture.
