We are a young, growing firm looking for a technically oriented 3D drafter to work with us on a part time or freelance basis. We specialize in geometrically complex facades. Our projects range in scale with a focus on large, cutting-edge projects and unusual, bespoke designs. Notable clients include Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, SOM, Morris Adjmi, Foster + Partners, Brandon Haw, among others. Our primary product is Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, which is an exterior cladding system composed of a masonry skin supported by a galvanized steel stud frame.

In Rhino you need to be able to dissect a skin and break it into panels. You with then incorporate it back into an architect's model once we have panel design. The architect will then develop it into a Revit model for construction and as-built drawings, so the accuracy of your information is critical. You will also need to produce concept drawings in CAD to explain system details to our partner architects and engineers. These are not shop drawings but need to be well detailed.

  • 3D modeling and some 2D drafting work

  • Updating plans due to evolving design revisions
  • Creative problem solving
