Glavé & Holmes Architecture is seeking to fill several positons for Project Manager/Project Architects with over 10 years of experience. The firm has six (6) studios focused around different market sectors. The studio are: Cultural, Hospitality, Urban, (2) in Higher Education and Interior Design. The studios looking for PM/PA level hires are in the Cultural, Hospitality and the Higher Education areas. We are interested only in those individuals who can perform the role described below and with the credentials listed.
The Project Manager role and responsibilities include being the primary client contact for a given project, directing project team members’ work, creating and managing project budgets and assisting with business development. The Project Architect role and responsibilities include being the primary person responsible for creating the deliverables for a given project, directing project team members’ work, coordinating with consultants and managing many areas of project delivery, from conceptual design through construction. The division between Project Architect and Project Manager at G&HA is not distinct and many projects are managed by a hybrid PA/PM role.
For both roles the desirable credentials and abilities include:
Between 10 and 15 years of experience with a professional License
Experience with prior project and team management, experience with complex project programs and project sizes above $10M construction cost, experience with public and private sector projects
Demonstrated ability to create a set of construction documents, and knowledge of materials, details and construction
Expertise with Revit and AutoCad platforms as well as with Adobe Creative Suite
Passion for design excellence, collaborative spirit and willingness to learn, sense of humor
Interest in traditional architecture, along with demonstrated ability to design within that language.
Abilities with Graphic design, Hand drawing and sketching, to write coherently
Interest in being a generalist in the practice of architecture – ability to focus on multiple scales, from detail to master planView your Application History
