We are currently seeking a highly talented Project Manager, at associate partner level, to work in Cupertino.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focal point for design team in Foster + Partners Cupertino office to provide practical advice in all code and building issues
  • Provide a professional Project and Design Management service internally and externally, as set out in PMGís scopes of service
  • Liaise input into design and construction programs 
  • Chair and minute design team meetings
  • Support the Architects in successful project delivery
  • Contribute to evolution of PMG’s documentation and methods
  • Construction Administration
  • Thorough knowledge of and compliance with F+P procedures and standards

Job Requirements

Qualities & Skills Required 

  • Qualified architect/ substantial knowledge of the architecture industry with project management experience
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
  • Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
  • Previous experience in a Senior Management or Consultant position
  • Educated to degree level
  • Formal qualification in Project Management
  • Extensive knowledge of USA contractors
  • Intimate knowledge of the Department of Buildings Fire Dept, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and local code 
  • Computer literate, PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel and Photoshop
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to produce graphic presentations
  • Excellent verbal presentation skills
  • Experience of code compliance, scheduling, consultant coordination, construction documents, supervision, project budgets, specification review, bid analysis, construction administration 
  • Extensive experience of supervising responses to RFQís and RFPís documentation 
  • Resilient to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with articulate and diplomatic manner
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as part of an effective team
  • Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
  • Self motivated and able to take responsibility
  • Flexible attitude
  • Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally


  • Working knowledge of Asta Power Project
