As an architectural Job Captain, this staff member will be assigned to support one of our design teams and will be responsible for the development and creation of architectural CAD drawings through all phases of the project – schematic design, design development and construction documents. Experience in healthcare or dialysis center design desired.
The Job Captain will report directly to an architectural Project Manager and will work on a variety of projects. The Job Captain will direct the work of one or more team members and will be responsible for the coordination and development of detailed construction drawings for the Project Manager. The Job Captain will be responsible for their staff adherence to office standards, may act as a peer reviewer of other projects developed by other Job Captains for quality control. This role requires strong people management skills and expertise in construction document production. The Job Captain may also handle small projects as the primary manager and will be a team member in the development of other more complex projects.
Requirements: Job Captains with 8 or more years experience supporting managers of architectural projects. Applicant must be experienced in the development of full sets of architectural construction documents and all of their component parts – details, schedules, etc.
Mastery of AutoCAD and Revit, Word, Excel is necessary. Mastery of other graphics and business software would be helpful. A degree from an accredited architectural or technical school, plus a minimum of 8 years related experience.View your Application History
