We exclusively represent an internationally acclaimed design firm with a strong luxury, hospitality, restaurant and entertainment portfolio that has an immediate need for a strong, SENIOR ARCHITECT with extensive performing arts/theater background.

This large, internationally-renowned design firm creates unique concepts for each project and specializes in a wide variety of markets while practicing synergistic design. Their successful design approach guides all decisions, from the overall concept to the smallest detail, and creates award-winning designs. As a studio-based organization, they work on projects from concept to completion and are very supportive of internal promotions based on their employee’s professional growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The firm has an immediate need for a Senior Architecrt that can take a leadership role within a small team and a very exciting perfroming arts center. This role will entail conceptual design, acting as a client liaison, design development through construction administration of a very unique and high profile theater. The firm has a non-hierarchical environment that allows for growth and responsibility--While you will be working under a Studio Director, this role does allow for autonomy and tangible contributions on many levels.

Qualifications include:

  • A degree in either Architecture  is mandatory
  • Seven years of experience in the performing arts/ theater community  is required
  • Candidates should be proficient in 3D Max, Rhino, Grasshopper, Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD, the Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
  • A demonstrated track record of bringing projects from concept through completion within given project topography.

The ideal professional will be a dynamic, collaborative leader with great communication skills, strong organizational/leadership skills and the ability to effectively deliver unique and creative spaces within defined budgets.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

This is a full-time, permanent position. Salary is commiserate with experience and will range from $90,000-$110,000, which also includes a full benefit package and additional bonus potential.
