Job Description

  • Assume leadership role for design and documentation of project.
  • Responsible for determining functional requirements, providing programming and space planning, facilities planning and materials specifications.
  • Responsible for the scope of interior services, contractual relationships and related fee issues.
  • Responsible for Revit documentation for all interior design related project items. 
  • Develop overall project budgets including construction, furniture, consultants, and other costs as it relates to the client’s overall project goals.
  • Responsible for all aspects of construction administration including site visits, managing installation schedules with contractors for furnishings, and site punch list items.
  • Understand and implement all codes (municipal, state, UBC and ADA) and actively keep updated on changes.
  • Responsible for coordination of internal disciplines and external consultants as required to complete projects successfully.
  • Prepare and participate in presentations to client, including those related to the marketing process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture required.
  • 10+ years relevant experience in an architecture or interior design firm required; experience in one of Flad’s market segments preferred.
  • NCIDQ certification and professional registration required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch-up required.
  • Revit, 3D rendering software, and Adobe Photoshop experience preferred.
  • LEED AP preferred.
