EYP is currently seeking a Project Director with extensive experience working on federal government projects.  The position is responsible for the following:

  • Effectively leading teams in delivery of superior projects on time and on budget
  • Interfacing with clients regarding projects
  • Participating in the marketing strategy sessions, project fee proposals, and drafting project goals in conjunction with project team
  • Meeting project goals including profitability, design, technical quality, schedule and client satisfaction
  • Implementing project delivery process
  • Stamping and sealing construction documents
  • Preparing, monitoring, and updating budgets, workplans and schedules
  • Working with Project Executive on contracts and additional services
  • Managing consultants including processing of consultant invoices
  • Working collaboratively in a cross discipline environment
  • Providing leadership on projects and mentor staff

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, 10+ years’ experience (5+ in managing projects), RA, experience managing and coordinating government projects, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.  Must have a proven track record of client management.  Must also have excellent communication, presentation, technical and organizational skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, challenging work environment. The nature of work to be performed requires that the successful applicant be a US citizen.  If hired, must be able to obtain government security clearance.
