Position requires a minimum of two to four years of experience in a similar role on the project types listed above but with immediate emphasis on hospitality interiors. Submit a portfolio that represents the applicant’s creativity; imaginative design of spaces; ability to combine materials and finishes; knowledge of landscape systems, furniture, and fixtures; familiarity with sources for samples; and ability to write specifications for FF&E. A professional degree plus a working knowledge of CAD and an ability to use MS Office. Working knowledge of Sketchup, Adobe Suite, and REVIT are preferred.  LEED-AP preferred. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creative assistance with the interior design of hospitality projects including furniture and finish selection
  • Preparing materials for office and client presentations
  • Producing schedules of finishes, finish drawings, and details to represent the interior scope of work during design development and construction document phases
  • Producing finish specifications, diligently researching the various criteria of each FF&E item, and preparing finish books for client review and purchasing
  • Coordination with Architectural team on the project
  • Understanding of relevant building codes and ADA
  • Regular communication with supervisor and tracking of progress including regular briefings to principal in charge of the project
  • Coordination with purchasing agents, owner representatives, and other consultants with regards to the acquisition, delivery and installation of FF&E items
  • Answering contractor RFI's and review of submissions
