Qualified candidates should have 7 years of experience, a professional degree, familiarity with CAD and an ability to use MS Office and Project Management tools. REVIT familiarity preferred. License preferred. LEED-AP preferred.
Effective leadership and communication
Experience with educational, residential and hospitality projects for both new build and renovation/restoration projects. Experience with NYC Landmark buildings is preferred.
Responsibility for projects development
Plan and administer projects
Work with Project Manager to stay on budget
Prepare projects for bidding
Coordinate with consultants
Determine compliance with building code and ADA
Meet regularly with consultants, clients, agencies, and contractors
Confer with clients about design intent
Meet with and coordinate engineering and specialty consultants
Assist with proposals and presentations
Coordinate with LEED consultant
During construction administration phase, review submittals and questions from the field, oversee tracking logs and schedules, attend construction meetings, interpret construction documents and observe the work, and prepare punch lists.
