Wolcott Architecture Interiors (WAI), based in Culver City, is accepting resumes for a Project Architect position.
The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects from concepts and schematic design through construction documents and observation. Our unique process allows you to guide your projects from inception to completion to exceed our client's expectations.
S/he will have Architectural training with Interiors sensibility and substantial experience in Building renovation/repositioning ($2-20M) of Class A and B properties including core/shell and common areas.
S/he must be able to coordinate and motivate a project team, provide quality client service, and show strong proficiency in developing, monitoring and issuing quality construction documents.
Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years experience in architecture and commercial tenant improvements as well as excellent organization, communication and leadership skills.
A degree in Architecture (or equivalent experience), design experience, a strong working knowledge of building systems, code compliance and planning implications, proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience dealing with building and safety, planning and working with municipal officials is a plus.
