Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS) is a world-renowned interior architecture and design studio.  We design inspiring spaces for the hospitality and retail sectors, creating exceptional hotels, bar/lounges, restaurants and private clubs worldwide with studios in New York and London.

Our New York studio is seeking a junior to mid-level architectural CAD designer to join our team to participate in a wide range of high end hospitality and commercial projects.

Our client-focused, collaborative approach ensures the opportunity for team members to participate throughout the entire design & build process, from concept development through to installation.

The Jr./Mid-level designer will be responsible for the production of layouts based on design input from various teams. Working with an approved design, he/she will develop complete construction documents from start to finish.  The documents must comply with all applicable codes and regulations and take into consideration electrical and plumbing realities.  He/she will attend and actively participate in meetings and prepare applicable meeting documents/schedules.

The designer will also be expected to convey design intent (and any restrictions that limit or change the design) to non-architecturally based individuals (e.g., clients).  When necessary, he/she will also develop new fixture shop drawings as well as 3d renderings for approvals and conduct site visits for site surveys and punch-lists.
