WASA/Studio A is a highly published firm practicing integrated architecture and engineering, as well as planning and preservation.  WASA is dedicated to delivering buildings that are exceptional works of architecture as well as fully integrated systems designed and built using the most advanced technology and methods available today.  In addition to our growing body of award winning new construction and adaptive reuse projects, we are a leader in the field of preservation having restored some of the most beloved architectural icons in the world, including Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater and Guggenheim Museum, and Louis Sullivan’s only completed work in New York City, the Bayard-Condict Building.

WASA/Studio A, located in Greenwich Village, is seeking to expand its team.  We are looking for a Project Manager with 10-15 years work experience.  The ideal candidate should be creative, collaborative, positive, and self-motivated.  A professional architectural degree is required.  Architectural License, LEED AP, and experience working on large multifamily residential projects is preferred.  Experience working in REVIT is a plus.

The selected candidate’s responsibilities include:

  • Working with Partners to develop the program, to conceptualize the project, and to implement the project goals.
  • Serving as our Clients’ key point of contact.
  • Organizing and leading presentations.
  • Developing project fees, timelines, staffing projections, and consultant requirements based on project parameters.
  • Managing the progress of multiple projects by preparing project memorandums and insuring that clear and timely communications flow between all parties.
  • Leading regular meetings with project teams.
  • Working with Partners to resolve project issues.
  • Guiding Project Architects in the implementation of designs and the documentation process.
  • Insuring the coordination of work between the architectural team, engineers, other design consultants, and construction team to ensure that the design objectives are met.
  • Managing the fees and labor allocations of projects for the duration of their activity.
  • Organizing quality control to integrate all work prior to submissions to Clients and governing agencies.
  • Assisting with the bidding and filing process.
  • Participating in marketing efforts including proposal writing and new client outreach.

This is a full time position.  Salary is commensurate with experience and accompanied by a competitive benefits package. Must either be a US citizen or permanent resident.
