Since 1940, HMC Architects’ work has been driven by the belief that design can change the world. We’re passionate about putting design to work in service of larger, more meaningful goals, whether societal, educational, medical, or cultural. We offer our clients agility and individualized attention combined with deep resources, drawn from the expertise and career-long learning of our staff. We believe that a smart solution results most reliably from a smart process, and that a project created with clients rather than for them stands a better chance of benefiting everyone involved in its implementation.
One hundred percent employee owned, HMC Architects cultivates the best possible teams of professionals for any opportunity, and views investment in its employees as tantamount to success. In fact, Building Design and Construction magazine has named us one of the top five Best AEC Firms to Work For, an accomplishment that reflects the pride we take in attracting top talent and rewarding top performers—a principle that ultimately staffs the laboratory in which our best ideas and project outcomes take shape. We have been proud to collaborate with clients on education, healthcare, corporate, and institutional projects to create award-winning architecture and interior design that is inviting, high-performing, environmentally sustainable, and human-focused.
