Artthaus is a fully-integrated design, project management, and real estate development firm. We specialize in the design and development of high-end residential properties in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area both as a Service Provider and Principal.

Within the Real Estate development division, Artthaus develops both boutique urban residences and repositions multi-family properties within the Bay Area.  Furthermore, it also owns and operates 700 units through its property management affiliate Best Bay Apartments.

Artthaus is looking for a skilled Project Manager. The PM will work closely with our Sr. Project Manager as well as the rest of the Artthaus team in seeing assigned projects through to completion. This position requires a highly-motivated person who loves to multi-task and working in a fast paced environment.  The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about architecture and design, and eager to assist and learn in whatever capacity is needed.

Responsibilities include managing and implementing client projects through entitlement process, design development, construction, and project completion on several projects simultaneously. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s abilities, talents and experience.

Artthaus specializes in the design of high-end, custom residential projects.  We offer a friendly, professional and productive working atmosphere in San Francisco.  Occasional weekends are required as project and business needs dictate.

  • 3-5 Years’ experience in Project Management
  • Assemble and coordinate all required disciplines for each project and manage agreements and change orders for each subcontractor
  • Build and maintain project budgets & schedules on a weekly basis
  • Prepare client email updates on a weekly basis
  • Prepare client funding requests on a monthly basis
  • Experience in manipulating financial models and budgeting formulas
  • Manage life of project through task lists, monthly project management reporting, and scheduling software
  • Manage post-construction maintenance of high end properties on an ongoing basis
  • Work as a team with purchasing manager and design team to assure timely specification and delivery of materials and construction details on an as-needed basis by project
  • Monitor/QC job cleanliness and security, particularly as projects near completion
  • Thorough knowledge of finish schedules, drawing sets, and architectural details
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be a productive team member with the ability to collaborate while working on complex projects against rigid timelines
  • Strong MS Office Suite program skills (Excellent Excel Skills a must!)
  • Ability to efficiently interface with project team and clients
  • Shows initiative, pro-activity, and ownership of projects where appropriate
  • Be able to prioritize and manage time effectively with the ability to be flexible and embrace shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Should be aware of a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures
  • Support Senior Project Manager with daily tasks as requested
