Responsibilities include:
- Fielding of inquires via our website, phone, and showroom.
- Configuration and refinement of residential kitchen layouts using the Viola Park component system.
- Production of CAD drawings and specifications for client approval.
- Design support for senior Henrybuilt staff, Viola Park’s sister company.
We are seeking a talented designer with a refined eye and good awareness of the state of the art in residential interior architecture, and excellent client management skills. We are also seeking someone who is interested in a long term career with Viola Park and has the talent, drive and commitment to grow into a leadership role.
This is a salaried position with a performance-based commission component.
Additional requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of residential interior design or related experience. Experience with configuration and sales of kitchen or other system-based products is highly preferred.
- Experience with managing a project or sales pipeline involving 10+ projects simultaneously.
- Experience and a high degree of comfort with direct client interaction, including managing a process toward decisions on a fixed timeline.
- Professional experience using autocad.
- Excellent email and phone communication skills.
- A proven ability to meet deadlines and complete work thoroughly.
- The ability to excel – gracefully – under pressure.
