San Francisco Design Firm with a broad range of project types: Commercial Architecture, Commercial Interiors, Residential, Retail and Product Design. We are interviewing for individuals with experience in commercial interiors, and high-end residential work. This is a great opportunity for talented individuals who want to work in a collaborative environment that delivers a high level of service to its clients and executes projects with a high level of design and detail.
Base Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Architecture or Interior Design program.
- At least 3 years full time experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2009 or 2010 with a knowledge of AIA layering standards.
- Knowledge of how a set of Construction Documents is organized.
- Graphic Software skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preliminary production work on all projects.
- Working with project manager to produce a complete set of construction documents in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform thorough and accurate field verifications and produce space plans.
- Product and materials research, selection and specification of furniture systems, finishes and products.
- Color rendering of presentation drawings in Photoshop/Illustrator
- Managing daily and periodic operations of the firm.
Professional Skills:
- Must have excellent drawing and graphics skills.
- Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized and able to coordinate project information, documents and graphics.
- Must be a good listener, a quick learner and be highly motivated.
