San Francisco Design Firm with a broad range of project types: Commercial Architecture, Commercial Interiors, Residential, Retail and Product Design. We are interviewing for individuals with experience in commercial interiors, and high-end residential work. This is a great opportunity for talented individuals who want to work in a collaborative environment that delivers a high level of service to its clients and executes projects with a high level of design and detail.
Base Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Architecture or Interior Design program.
- At least 5-7 years full time experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2009/2010 with knowledge of AIA layering standards.
- Able to organize and produce Construction Documents.
- Able to manage project related information with a fundamental grasp of construction administration.
- Graphic Software skills: Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Other Software skills: Schedule, XL.
- Experience in product and materials research, selection and specification of furniture systems, finishes and products.
Requirements:
- Responsible for Production work on all projects.
- Manage production of a complete set of construction documents in a timely and professional manner.
- Sketch and develop non-standard details .
- Fundamental knowledge of codes and ability to perform code research.
- Fundamental knowledge of bidding and permit process.
Professional Skills:
- Must have excellent drawing and graphics skills.
- Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Should be highly organized and able to coordinate project information, documents and graphics.
- Must be a great listener, excellent problem solver and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work product.
- Should have good leadership and interpersonal skills, when required to manage junior staff.
