We are seeking a senior level Technical Architect/Project Manager who has the potential to participate as a member of the leadership team.
The Senior Tecnical Architect will be responsible for all technical phases of projects and for coordination with the design architect and various consultants. The candidate will be expected to direct and motivate staff architects to complete construction dicuments and other drawings as required by various projects' schedules. High level of client contact expected.
The successful candidate should be a high-energy self-starter, interested in committing to this unique growth opportunity and upside potential.
Requirements:
- B.A. Architecture required; license a strong plus
- 7 to 10 years experience minimum, with at least 4 years experience with large NYC residential projects; townhouse experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB and structural/mechanical systems
- Strong familiarity with construction techniques
- Demonstrated ability to participate/coordinate/follow-up construction site meetings
- Proficiency in AutoCad expected; additional architecture-oriented software proficiency a plus
- Good verbal and communication skills.
