ETHER

Our environment is in a state of continuous conflict and disparate conditions constantly negotiate for resolution. This project argues that the intersection between economy and efficiency produces disruptions in programmatic relations that become instrumental in the generation of the architecture’s spatial configurations. “Ether” is a concept that hybrids the program of the financial data center and the co-working office; the former being a program requiring a hyper-efficient layout and the latter, a program that is subjected to the economy of space and material necessary to navigate the new environment of the three dimensional matrix.
