I have lived overseas since I was 4 years old and have been lucky enough to live in two culturally rich countries, Brunei and Oman. I think living abroad has definitely been an enriching experience. It has allowed me to meet many people from all around the world and to explore some truly amazing places untouched by globalisation.
I am also very passionate about snowboarding and try my hardest to follow the snow whether it’s in the northern or southern hemisphere. In between finishing school and starting university I Travelled to New Zealand and spent three months there obtaining my level two SBINZ snowboarding instructor qualification.
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Architectural Design at the University of Queensland and will be graduating this December (2012). I am also an active member of SONA (Student Organised Network for Architecture), I contributed to the SONA pavilion for the national architecture conference and I am currently taking part in a mentor ship scheme with Hassel Architects through SONA. I have also taken part in an international architecture competition outside of university, where my group and I were placed 3rd in our category short listing us for the second stage of the competition.
