My name is Jennifer Guay, and I'm a journalist from Montreal finishing up my final semester at Boston University, where I study journalism and political science. I enjoy writing about foreign affairs, technology, politics, music, education, and work life. Upon graduation, I'm hoping to find a job in the media or at a start-up. I think that a degree in journalism -- four years spent studying human nature, developing a knack for deadlines, and learning how to write eloquently about any subject under the sun -- will serve me well in any field.
I currently split my time between writing stories for USA TODAY College as a correspondent and working as a marketing intern at 451 Marketing. Both offer very different perspectives of the media, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the juxtaposition of the two. Ultimately, I hope to find a job that allows me to combine my reverence for writing and desire to help build a brand from the ground up.
