Situating within an enormously porous and lively street condition, the Indian Heritage Centre - a government initiative project to foster nationhold and identity, to attact tourists and locals - seeks for a modern expression while maintains an intimacy with the surrounding heritage development. Constrainted by dense program requirements and rigorous building codes, the project intricately translates all its available space into a series of voids in staggering manner with the intention to construct and enhance a new experience of viewing and understanding Little India.
