About

Born and raised in Belize to a family of hardware and construction entrepreneurs, I've been in and around the built environment, observing and understanding materials and processes all my life. I moved to the United States at the age of 19 where I began, and then four years later concluded, my undergraduate architectural studies in Miami, FL. After graduation I worked for two years in architecture, producing construction documents, renderings, and proposal packages for a firm in Boston for one year, and a firm in Belize for the second year. Having dual experiences, in different countries, in both life and work has given me a clear understanding of how to work as a team with my peers, to go above and beyond where necessary, and to be flexible always.

Next, I continued my education at Northeastern University in Sustainable Urban Environments, where I've learnt about the city and its complex network of flows – flows of people, energy, water, materials, and ecology. I have learnt about designing in an evidence based, holistic, integrated, and ecological approach. However even though I have dedicated over 18 months to urban design, the most important thing I have learnt is that I am an architect at heart – I am a manipulator of materials, space, and function at the building scale, rather than at the city scale. I have however, now packed myself with a wealth of knowledge perfectly suitable and applicable to the field of architecture. I consider myself to be an Ecological Architectural Designer.

Throughout my life, I’ve driven myself towards nothing but the best. I’m not afraid to bend over backwards in order overachieve and impress if necessary - Today, my main goal is to sharpen my skills at a dynamic architectural office by contributing to their important works, but also learning from highly skilled and experienced professionals around me.
