Car Museum and Dealership (SF)

This was a project for a museum and car dealership that aims to introduce electric (EV) and hybrid vehicles as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional gas-powered vehicles that clog the streets today. A public avenue cuts through the site, where public charging stations on the street level  line up as nodes for EVs to physically plug in to the architecture. The hybrid programs of the museum and dealership are integrated into a linear procession that spirals down from top (museum) to bottom (dealership) along a central circulation ramp for people and EV. This hybrid system empowers customers as they progress from learning about the EV in the museum to the culmination of purchasing their own car.
