Emily Carr University of Art & Design was seeking to expand their school campus and relocate to an area that would provide optimal growth for their expanding classes. The intent of this conceptual design was to take a similar approach to that of their existing campus. We needed to create and consolidate different entities which included residential, educational and public.
The idea of creating a main circulation artery was adopted from their previews campus which carried the main circulation to all of their buildings trough a transited street. By taking these ideas we were able to create and expand on their idea for a new design campus.
