The Claudia Housing project is a low cost housing proposal that utilizes the aqueduct as a form of social infrastructure. The project is built on the memory of Via Mandrione, along which migrants and the poor had gathered and settled.
The modular units are assembled onsite with prefabricated panels, which give the project a sense of temporary existence and fragile memory. The Claudia Housing not only restores the abandoned aqueduct, it also reinforces the function of The Claudia as a social and cultural icon .
