Il Fascino delle Curve

Situated on the top of a building in Lainate, a residential town near Milan, the architects of Ristrutturami firm has projected an home makeover of a duplex apartment of 200 square metre.

In the mansard roof there are the kitchen, the living room, an area dedicated to gym equipments and an amazing roof terrace with a panoramic view of the city.

The kitchen is set into the verandas, which is made of a lightweight, steel frame with bespoke, double curved sealed glass panels.

The mansard roof is full of colours and materials composed by the colours of the walls, which are mixed with lime green, blue and purple; 10 different chairs for the kitchen table and multi-coloured seat cushions realized with different textures and fantasies!

Squared walls of the mansard roof are replaced by sinuous curvy walls, as we descent at the lower floor. This curvy effects are created by the roundness of the walls, glass panels and an accurate study of lightings.

At the lower floor there are a living room, a little studio which is separated from the living room by a glass wall, the bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The bedroom is a luxury minisuite; the bed header is decorated with a wallpaper and it divided the room from the walk-in closet.

At the right opposite of closet there is a wall which its function is to separate the bedroom from the bathroom because toilet, bidet and shower are “hidden” by a wall made of glass.
