My background is in landscape and architecture. My work focuses on urban land use and bulk regulations, and I am particularly interested in low-income and public housing, landscape planning, and real property law.

Write and develop land use regulations and zoning frameworks for New York City at both the neighborhood and citywide scales. I perform geospatial and technical design analysis for agency proposals, and assist borough planners with urban design, zoning, and policy consultation.

Aided in design, research, and visualization for PennDesign/OLIN’s Rebuld by Design proposal for Hunts Point, Bronx. My work has focused on integrated waterfront flood protection, the integration of food distribution infrastructure with public space and pedestrian access, and the costs and benefits of using Hunts Point as an emergency supply chain hub. In addition, I have researched techniques for procurement that can have a positive impact on local job growth and how those techniques affect specific design elements.

Researched a broad history of speculative development as well as the policy, zoning, and land use planning that currently underwrites development in Madrid, Spain. This research formed the basis for two timelines. In addition, I mapped, categorized, and analyzed development around Madrid. My work has been for Christopher Marcinkoski’s forthcoming novel The City That Never Was.

Edited, researched, and contributed to David Gouverneur’s forthcoming novel Planning and Design for Future Informal Settlements. Research, analysis, and mapping focused on ‘sites and services’ projects and informal settlement growth patterns and tendencies.

Created the base maps for design development in preparation for Freshkills Park East Mound. Included topography, ecological regimes, relevant site structures, sub-surface infrastructure, surface infrastructure, hydrological, and overall site plan.
