As Primo Levi put it I am not interested in fairytale endings painted with strokes of burning exhaust as me and the bad boy turned good fade out into the sunset. To me, what is important are the steps that you take on your road, the decisions you have to make once you are at a crossroad, the last drops of water that you give to that dying old stranger you meet on your road. Those are the problems, the challenges I want to tackle. I fell in love, deeply and irrevocably with a profession that only blesses a lucky few, and my road as I see it now is at that crossing, that necessary crossing, that comes with a life changing decision. The paths that arise before me are two: a straight one, that is familiar and filled with flowers of immense beauty, and a curved one. The latter reveals itself only by walking on it, being at times foggy, and filled with magical adventures only a true hero hopes for. Even though the known path hits home I am choosing the other path, the curved one. I believe, that such a path has much more to teach a traveler. Such a path is my idea of a journey, one sort of path that is not necessarily familiar but that gives any traveler the pride of thought to say that they have truly lived.
