Adult day care is a place where elderly users are kept active. Therefore, activities and environment must be interesting and engaging in order to keep them active. Color as a design element enriches environment and adds beauty and excitement to the surrounding. Color creates visual, symbolic, emotional and physiological awareness. Hence, the main goal is to create an engaging environment applying different color principles and theories. Adequate contrast between wall-floor, floor-furniture and floor-floor was created with regard to change in vision in elderly eyes. It also added in creating a vibrant
environment.
