Mii amo Spa

This 34,000-square-foot spa complex is comprised of a main treatment building and six freestanding guest "casitas." The main building is organized along a 172-foot-long horizontal spine. Along this spine are five adobe brick towers that house private treatment rooms lit by corner windows and skylights. On the ground level, amid bathing pools and courtyards, the Crystal Grotto, a sky-lit room with an earthen floor, serves as the focal point of the spa experience. In deference to the stunning beauty of Boynton Canyon, the buildings are designed as a series of shifting volumes, clad in earth-toned stucco with natural accents of brick and stone.
