About

Project Manager/ Project Leader (ARB Part 3 Registered Architect & PhD) with 16 years’ experience in practical and academic works in several countries - primarily in China, Kazakhstan, the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Italy. Developed experience mainly on Urban & Architectural design, Project Management and Research & Development. I have a passionate interest in Sustainable Urban development, Urban Renewal Projects, Amphibious & Floating urban/architecture (Flood resilient development) and Buildings Refurbishment & Conversion. My goal is to ensure that the ideas, generated in international workshop and holistic environments, observe the city/place identity & morphology and meet the needs of community, environment, client and market trend. My theoretical approach can be well described by the followings two research titles:

- "Amphibious paradox". The idea of an “Amphibious City”: ‘literature’ and ‘invention’. The amphibious city is an urban settlement makes to think about the relationship between architecture, urbanism, planning of water and waterfront (Flood Risk). The design of an Amphibious City is intended as an experimental attempt, which verifies to the theoretical assumption through architectural practice.

- "Shape tomorrow's Cities". The sustainable development in China and Europe.
