A new Primary School and Community Center in Zweledinga is designed to allow maximum light penetration into each of the six classrooms, while preventing direct heat gain from the hot desert sun. A simple brick design would allow the school to be built by the villagers themselves, and is the most cost effective option for building material. The school is just one part of a larger master plan that would provide the village with sustainable solutions for farming, housing, and water sources among others.
