Convened by the U.S. Department of Energy, in 2009, universities from U.S., Canada, Germany and Spain competed in the "Solar Decathlon" to design, build and operate the most attractive and efficient house powered solar energy. The  "Black and White" house, which includes orange interior details has a bathroom, kitchen and a technician room. The living and sleeping space provided by a single multifunctional space. This house is a great natural light and use low energy LED lighting at night, also include other green systems.
