I knew this from old magazines as a product called "Leaflite" or maybe it was "Leaflight". Last use of it I've seen was the Kenzo Tange-designed AMA building in Chicago from 1989 or so. It's great. Hope someone out there still makes it.

I think its a very old Hunter Douglas ceiling.
Niemeyer's communist party headquarters in Paris has similar. perhaps that will help in the chase.
