I am the teaching assistant for a class coming up this Spring and our site will be in San Francisco. With past projects we have been able to find preexisting site models of large cities (new york, hong kong) that we have worked with that we were able to get hold of and use.
No luck though yet with San Francisco. Do you guys know of anything out there?

San Francisco digital site model

i have a rhino model of SF, all the buildings are meshes, so it's kind of a pain, but it's workable. only problem is its too big to email to you
you can do a dirrectx capture with 3d ripper DX of the city from Virtual Earth
