I heard you could be able to become an architect by working under a lisenced architect for 10 years. But I thought NCARB got rid of that. Could someone please clarify.

Most never make it to architect - 7 - 25% tops - most people let reality intervene
You won't acquire other skills like writing proper sentences by doing that.
Why would anyone want to become an architect?
