last time i looked at ARE forum, I was struck by how dweeby and whiny their posters are... 'please send me free stuff because I'm too cheap to buy my own study materials', 'help, I don't understand how to add 2 plus 2' and similar crap. I would never want to hire most of those folks since they come across as incompetent.
in terms of studying for the LEED exam, ARE forum was a waste of my time since you can get everything you need from the usgbc.

Beware areforum.org. It's a good resource, but there are a lot of negative alarmists.
