From Thread Central::
"ok, here's a tip for those of you who don't want to scroll through the whole thread...:http://www.archinect.com/forum/threads.php?id=33434_200_42_0_
then if you change the third to last number in the string (in my example the 200), then that can take you directly to where you would like to pick up the thread at." -PUDDLES
Where yes, this works, may I suggest that the page numbers appear at the top of the first page as well as the bottom. This way when I scroll down right away to go to the next page(s) it doesn't keep dissapearing because the damn page is still loading more entries (and therefor getting longer and pushing the bottom off the screen). This way we can click the thread and BAM there is the for me to click...
But ofcourse its your site, just figure I make a suggestion (then let others comment)
or let there be a link in the thread listing on the main forum page - i.e. if you click on the thread title it takes you to the first bit, but if you click on the number of the last post, it takes you to that post?
i believe i've suggested this before as well.
and still think it would be a good idea.
I suggested it as well, and therefore I fourth this motion.
wow, i've been cited as a reference...that's gotta be the highlight of my morning. thanks superbeatledud
I fifth this motion and in doing so, parry WonderK's deft move
This feature will be included in the next version of Archinect.
Paul, do you work on Archinect, or are you just informed of such...
Either way, yay!
SuperBeatledud, darling, Paul is the founder of Archinect.
You'd better check yourself.....you know what I'm going to say next.
BTW, Paul, THANKS! You rock.
well, i figured as much looking at his entries and comments (which is scary that his entries are 1/3rd of total comments...WOW!).
I'd like to think it was my 6th that was the tipping point.
FOG Lite, I second the motion that it was your 6th that was the tipping point.
Really I just wanted another dumb excuse to post.
FOG Lite is the environmental tipping point.
This begs the question: When will the next version of Archinect go live? (or did I miss the answer in another thread?)
