triangular truss to truss connection detail

rastafar

Hi all,

I'm looking for the connection detail or device that would be used in such a connection between 2 or more triangular trusses coming together at a connection point. Any other buildings which contain this sort of connection or the connection itself would be a great help.

Thanks

It looks like you may actually have space frames versus trusses, but in any case:

Do research as to what type of loads are always resultant at the bearing points of trusses and you will have 85% of your answer.

Wouldn't you build the roof scape as one piece, rather than joining different trusses together?

missing some information -- is there a column supporting the connection points? any special techtonic expression you're after?  if yes about the column, and no about the techtonics, then since all your angles are different each one will be a custom steel connection, but fairly standard stuff
