Mixing Revit & AutoCAD Architecture in project workflow

sideMan

Forgive me if this topic has been brought up before.
There are Revit users and ACA users in our group using the software on the same project. Importing dwgs into Revit, doing detail etc. in ACA and printing separate sheets and all the different things that are done mixing the software on a project.

I would think that the goal would be to really go all in with Revit and not be mixing or is it just a fact of life to mix the two. I would prefer to use just one.

Opinions?

Yes the ideal scenario would be to just stick to 1 program that fits all.

Revit and Dynamo all the way - no skp, Rhino and no acad

the problem is getting consultants to do revit - LAs and IDs, CE stick to acad and its a big hassle
